The Calm before the Storm........

I returned from Iowa early today. It was a nice drive with sun shining on me almost all the way home. Only a sprinkling of snow had fallen early this morning but if the weatherman is even close to being right, there will be loads of snow falling by this time tomorrow. I don't mind. My mom is doing well and is happy to stay home and be safe. I'm happy to have been able to get home and have no place to go so I don't mind at all if it snows. I have plenty of projects to do!! One of those projects is my patriotic block for today that I sketched while I ate supper tonight but have yet to sew the block together. It will get done tomorrow. In the meantime, I am going off to bed now as I am really, really tired...............
Sandi who is happy to be back to regular blogging!

I'm glad you are home all safe and cozy with your decorating done and time to work on projects with peace in your heart and mind since your mom is doing well. What more could you ask for this Christmas season??
