Can I fool you?

and make you think it's still Christmas?...........

Well, as of yesterday, all my garland and outdoor Christmas decorations were still hanging along the porch railings and decorating this tree so it still looked like Christmas. In January, it was too cold and snowy to remove it all. Then in February, the snow and cold continued and I decided I would leave it 'til Spring and then take it down. Spring has been here since early March but I still never took the time to take down the Christmas garland.
Then last weekend, I told my husband I would finally remove it all but that I was going to leave the tree and decorate it with eggs. He just nodded. Didn't even give me a strange look or anything. :-) Then I had to decorate the eggs, so I spent last Sunday afternoon glueing bits of flowers and ribbons to plastic eggs. I took some pictures as I did it and will share a little tutorial on how easy it is to do. I'll post the tutorial on Friday morning. I topped off the tree with a bunny that my mother crocheted several years ago (I think it's a toilet tissue cover) and my Christmas Tree was transformed into Easter Delight. LOL!
Have a good day! ........No foolin' :-)
Sandi

Cute story! And I like your Easter Egg tree. I still have my three little artificial trees sitting in the living room. I found some tiny Easter decorations at a thrift store the other day. It is my intention to decorate at least one of them with those.

How very cute....but it doesn't surprise me that you would do something like this!

I like your creative Easter tree. We have a little tabletop flat gold tree that I got from Hallmark, intended to hold small picture frames. I like to change it throughout the year and am always looking for seasonal miniatures or similar items, such a tiny flags on picks for Independence Day.

Your tree is just too cute. It didn't fool me, but I sure do like it. My daughter wanted me to keep our tree up all year and just change the decorations.
Happy Easter.

Dear Sandi,

I LOVE your tree - I laughed out loud when I saw the Easter Bunny sitting on top of it - and then, when I read your post, I looked closer and saw all of the eggs too - that is just too fabulous!

If my tree were up I think I would take you up on this idea - thanks for sharing!

Happy Easter my friend!

Hugs
Ramona :-)

That is adorable! My DH would think I'd lost my mind if I put that on the porch! It's perfect for Easter!
