I think I like to do too many things. LOL! I enjoy most crafts, miniatures, sewing, quilting, embroidery, cross-stitch, crazy quilting, scrapbooking, and I love working with wool and/or woolfelt. This tulip project is made with woolfelt that has been over-dyed. It's one of my favorite designs.......
This is also my grandson's favorite as he loves the little pocket in the tulips that holds the flower stamens. I thought today I would give away a kit and pattern for this project. Just leave me a comment with your name and a link back to your blog or e-mail. You have until Saturday, June 11th at 11:00 p.m. to enter the drawing.
Now there is a chance to win another prize and all you have to do is go over to QuiltingGallery and you'll see that I'm Michele's Guest Blogger. Just go here and you can read my post and you'll see big photos of a couple of my favorite quilting and stitchery projects!! Thanks to Michele for letting me share my quilty, creative fun!! Oh, and when I said I enjoy most crafts, stitching, etc. Well, I can't knit or crochet. They both confound me. My mother crocheted and my mother-in-law was a knitter. I never needed to learn, thank goodness!
Remember......leave your name and a link for a chance to win a kit and pattern for the Tulip Penny Rug! Good Luck!

I've been reading your blog for quite a while now and I look forward to your posts. I love the tulip, it is very cute and I know someone I could make it for. Like you, I do many types of crafts in my limited spare time. :)
Thank you for the opportunity to win.
I love the little tulip. I also realize that I like to do too mamy things, but I do knit and crochet so that's another whole pile of UFOs to deal with!

This would be a great starter project for someone like myself who has never worked on wool before. Thanks for the fun giveaway.

I love the tulip penny rug. All my wool is waiting for me and this kit would be perfect in my "To-Do Basket". Thank you, Sandi, for sharing.
Love your tulip! Gorgeous and would love one of my own. Many thanks and Happy Birthday. Mine is this month as well.
I love the tulip penny rug. It is my brother's favorite flower and his birthday is coming up, so maybe a penny rug tulip pouch for the remote would be good. Love your patterns. Helen O
Congratulations on the lovely post.
Your tulip penny rug is lovely. I did an applique tulip at the beginning block for a "tinners" group I belong to with my guild. It was also pink, but has a ladybug on it's leaf and a bee flying by it. My tin gets returned next week and I can't wait to see what keeps it company.
I'd love to celebrate my Dutch grandparents with your penny rug.
Your blog is a frequent visitor to whatever computer I can get my hands on.
Keep on blogging, belated Happy Birthday.

How pretty! I've been wanting to work with wool and this is the perfect project for me! I love pink and green, too!

It was fun to read your article in the Quilting Gallery, Sandi. I have tried wool felt and it does come out very nice. But, unfortunately, I don't have time for everything, LOL. A kit would certainly make it easier.
Like so many others have said, I love this project, and I've not worked a wool project yet, but would love to. I can't imagine anything better than this to give it a try.
I popped over and read your post. Those are some wonderful quilts!

I have only made one penny rug which I gave to my sister for her birthday. Plan to make more but if I was fortunate enough to win the kit I would keep it for myself as it is gorgeous.
Thanks for the chance and belated birthday wishes.
Such a beautiful penny rug. I've always wanted to make one and hope I win this one to try.

This is the first time I have read your blog as a guest blogger on Quilting Gallery. I especially liked the pictures you shared of the table runner and the tulip wool mat. I hope to learn to sew on wool soon. A belated Happy Birthday to you. As far as I can tell, we are near the same age, but I'm not telling!!!!
Beautiful penny rug!! You do great work!! quiltsbycheryl@hotmail.com
