Memorial Day 2010

I am looking forward to this Memorial Day Monday. I'll be visiting my mother and we'll attend the services and the wreath throwing that takes place at the bridge. We'll have lunch at the local Senior Citizens Center and then she is going to return to spend a few days with me. I am really looking forward to this and fortunately I am feeling somewhat better so all should be well. My blogging may not be very regular for the next week or so as we will be out and about or just here at home enjoying some stitching and crafting projects. I'll check in when I can. :-)
Have a lovely weekend!

I'm glad you are feeling a bit better now. Enjoy the time by your Mom and then the time she will spend with you, too! Be sure to take photos so when you CAN get back online, you can share them with us, okay?

This is a special time to treasure those parents, grandparents, and other family members we still have with us as we share in remembering and honoring those who have died. I am sure that your dear father will be present in your thoughts and conversations as you and your mother spent this time together. Lucky you. Lucky her. Will your husband, children, and grandson get time with her also?

Nice day to commemorate the brave hearts, best wishes for your celebrations. And, I want to believe you are feeling better and better on your health. Always in my prayers. Hope you take some free time to enjoy outside, and a break from your quilting works, please:) Life's so wonderful outside.
