What's on the line?..........a Giveaway!

Giveaway is closed. Winner will be announced late Saturday afternoon. Had no idea this would be so popular! LOL!
That's right! I've got a little giveaway for you today. Taking a break from sharing a quilt on the line so that I can share some fabric. :-)   You know that saying......."One person's trash is another person's treasure?" Well, if you believe that, then you may want the "treasure" in this pink plastic trash can........
The can is about 10" tall and I have filled it with scraps and some fat quarters that I won't use. If you would like to have this can full of scraps, just leave your name and e-mail contact on this post. I will have my Random Number Man draw a winner on Friday evening. I'll mail the filled can, and some more scraps that I'll pack in the box with it, on March 15th. That'll give me time to add more scraps. You see, I'm cleaning in my sewing room and I am determined to "get a handle on my clutter". If I mail fabric to one of you, it won't be cluttering up my sewing room. Clever, huh?  Note .......... I always offer my giveaways to anyone anywhere, however, this one is only open to residents of the U.S. due to the cost of shipping this heavy little trash can of fabric. For my International readers..........I decided I would do "Four Fine Fat Quarters", for one lucky overseas entry. Tell me if you are from outside the U.S. and your name will go in a separate drawing. :-)
Now, leave your name if you want my fabric trash and then have a great day!!! Tomorrow, I'll let you all know how I'm doing with my personal challenge... "not gonna buy any cotton quilting fabric in 2012". See ya then. Have a great Monday!!
Sandi

And the winners are .......
Chelley wins the Pink Trash Can and Linny from Australia wins the Four Fine Fat Quarters! They have both been notified and replied with their addresses. This was so much fun.......look for me to do it again!

  4. What a funny idea, Sandi! Your trash can, LOL! I have a New Jersey mailing address in case I win. (But, I won't mind being in both drawings, hehehe.)

I have one of those little cans, too. I use it to dispose of all the little scraps when I'm rotary cutting. Those little pieces that can't even be used for a miniature. When it's full, I put it in a bag in the back of a cabinet, for possible future use for stuffing in a pillow.

Yes, I'm a hoarder! (But, don't send me yours, LOL)

  19. Sandi, even when you are throwing out the trash you are so generous! I have recently done the same thing you are doing, so I would not want this prize for myself. I have been giving a young girl sewing lessons and if I win your pretty pink trash can, I would give it to her so she could use all the goodies inside to practice and make things!

  53. I don't even want to think about how much quilters cotton I've bought this year. I cut fabric for 28 squares this weekend. Woohoo! All fabric purchased in the last 9 months (for this project). I was good at the last shop hop. I took a list, and, if it wasn't on the list, I didn't get it (except one panel). Thanks for the giveaway! Even the trash can is useful.

  60. What a lovely and generous offer! I would love to have a chance to work with those lovelies. I about panicked (sp) because not only did my computer malfunction --my cable was out all afternoon, too. 'puter spent 3 1/2 hrs in "ER" and hopefully is mended. Wow! When cable was out... I learned how dependant I have become on technology... 'puter, tv, phone. tsk-tsk.
    Blessings!

  70. I have been planning for years to quilt when I "retire" and have the time. Due to a tragedy in 2010 I realized I need to start now, because you never know when God will call you home. I am having a blast with quilt blogs and a LOT of learning. I know I am so far behind everyone else, but I gotta start somewhere and I am having a wonderful time. Would love to have the can & fabric to add to my stash.
