To cut it short - adopted 2x -original parents no clue -first set of parents both are passed away - So... at the age of 12 I was adopted once again... It was not easy that is for sure! My mother is not the maternal type, pats on the head type of love. My father... he has been a male roll model to my children and myself, a religious roll model to my family (he is a pastor), a driving teacher to my 2 oldest children and myself, a shoulder to cry on, a hug that engulfs you... He's been gone for almost ten years now, but it seems like he was just here yesterday. I think of him often. Talk to him. Wonder if he would approve of this or that. Think of his jokes and his dry, quirky humor. So in a lot of ways, he is still here with me, and I do cherish him and all the good memories!Sue Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03241119220488853284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7739974925779691361.post-73303649391333835202008-09-08T07:07:00.000-05:002008-09-08T07:07:00.000-05:00Good Morning Sandi,How can I tell you about a cher...Good Morning Sandi,
How can I tell you about a cherished friend or relative in only a few short words. My very dearest friend is Barbara. We met 11 years ago as I was going through a hard time in my life. She has been there over the years through the thick and the thin, good and bad. There is absolutely nothing that she doesn't know about me and me about her. She is always there for me and I am always there for her. She just remarried and moved clear across the country but we still email several times a day and talk on the phone almost every day and I am still there for her and she is still there for me.
There are two other people who I have cherished who are no longer here with me. They are my mother and my brothers, Keith and George. I love them so much and miss them so very much.
