What's on the line?

Oh, my, I almost forgot to post today!!  It's been a bit busy the past few days with baking, cleaning, and then a weekend visit from our kids. And, it was Sauerkraut Days in Henderson this past weekend so it was a busy, fun weekend. The weather was absolutely perfect for the parade on Sunday. And some of the perfect weather can be seen in the background of this charming Sunbonnet Sue quilt top...........

This is another quilt top that my mom and dad bought at an auction. What I find interesting about this one is that all the Sunbonnet Sue's are the same fabric, just facing differently in the blocks. The top is in fairly good condition with just a couple minor spots on it. I think this one would be fun to hand-quilt in an "old-fashioned quilting bee" event. I might just do that one day. And if I do..........I'll be sure and share it here on my blog.  :-)
With the arrival of July, summer is in full swing and it looks like a beautiful week coming up. Make it a good one!
Back soon with photos of our big weekend and more...........

I love sauerkraut was raised with it but my DH and family not so much! So it is treat when I have it. Sweet Sue top! Brings back memories of My Aunts and the ones they used to make. Hope you can quilt it some day.

I love "What's on the Line"!!! I have been hunting for that shade of green fabric for years. It doesn't seem to be 'out there'.....either too 'minty' or too much gray, or something! I think I would buy the whole bolt if I came across the perfect match!!!! Hugs......

I always love a cute sunbonnet sue. Thanks so much for the bee fabric. I absolutely adore all of it. I have looked high and low for years for bee fabric and occasionally find some but nothing like this stassh. It is fantastic. I can't believe how lovely the fabrics each are. You are so wonderful to share with me. I so appreciate it.

Sweet quilt. I love the simple shapes of Sun Bonnet Sue and how pretty they look in lovely pastels.
