Room with a view........

That's right......... a room with a view is what I had during my recent surgery at Immanuel St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato, MN.
I had the best doctor/surgeon and wonderful nurses during my stay. Now I'm home and recovering nicely. I don't mind walking and sitting but that getting up and down out of chairs or the bed is still a wee bit uncomfortable. Every day, every hour, actually gets better. I'm getting lots of rest and did a tiny bit of hand-quilting. I have my nose in a really good book that I'll be telling you about later this month. Going off to read some more on it right now. I'll be back soon. Thanks for your well-wishes and prayers. They were so appreciated and I could feel them all!

getting lots of rest help the most. I agree that getting up from a chair or bed is a pain after surgery.

I was wondering how you were doing. I have a piece of paper with your name on it in front of my keyboard to remind me.

Nice view for a hospital! Ours doesn't have such!!!

BTW you, too, are being hit by these back link gremlins. Change your settings to "new posts do not show back links" or close to that, to get rid of them. I posted more about it on my blog when they hit me earlier this week. Geesh!

A stay at the hospital is never fun, but I'm sure the view made you feel better. Glad to hear it went well and that you are back home. Take good care and rest as much as you can! Speedy recovery!

I have a feeling that you were probably one of the best patients those doctors and nurses ever had....so it was probably very easy for them to be nice to you! I'm glad you are doing well. I recall how difficult it was to get up from a lying position after my major surgery some years back....UGH.....not fun!!
