It's a DayTreat!

Oooh, the day has arrived and we will be sewing today. I'm hosting a little event I call "DayTreat" and am packing a retreat weekend's worth of fun into one day. Heidi Kaisand will be teaching us how to make her quilt "Candy Dish" and if you want to see what we'll be making just go right over to her blog and check it out........ take a peek here.   We are going to have so much fun and I will tell you all about it because I have my camera ready and will take lots of pictures. Actually, I've been taking pics all this past week or so as I worked on things for the big day but I didn't want to share them as I want each of the guests who are coming to be really surprised!!! So, no photos today but next week, I'll have plenty to share!! I'm going to the Deep Valley Quilt Guild Show in Mankato, MN on Saturday so I'll be taking pictures there, too, so there will be plenty to show you in the next few days.  Hope you all have some fun things planned for this mid-April weekend!

You have a great two days planned!!! Enjoy!!! Today will be yardwork, then some medical typing and then the rest of the weekend involves preparing for and hosting an event at church Sunday night (and playing bells at church that morning). No sewing, but I'm sure the weekend is going to fly and maybe Monday I can sew! Can't wait to hear about your two days and see the photos.

Oh I bet you are having SO much fun... I can't wait to see the pictures.. I'm just a teensy bit jealous. LOL I'm having a good time here though too stitching away, and workin on planting a garden is very relaxing. You have enough fun for both of us, you can relax when you get home :)

Wow this sounds like it was so much fun Sandi! I got back to MN late Saturday and actually went to the Mankato quilt show on Sunday!!! I saw the signs for Henderson all the way down. And we still haven't met.
