Lots of winter fun!!!

Yes, there is lots of winter fun in store for you with this post. I've been really busy lately and am going to invite you to peek at three things that you might enjoy knowing about today.......
The first peek is at the table runner that Minnie the Bear is holding in her lap. Just take a jaunt over to Stash*Manicure and you'll find a tutorial on how you can make the very runner she is holding. Some of you may recognise that runner as I have featured variations of it in previous posts here and here. There are "Sew Many Possibilities" for ways that you can use your stash to make this table runner so be sure and check out my tutorial. :-)

And then be sure to scoot on over to Elizabeth's blog Twelve*Crafts*Til*Christmas for a chance to win my "Crafting Fun Basket"! Please wish Elizabeth congrats on her one year blogaversary and take a peek at the fun projects that she makes! I enjoy her blog because the projects she has made for her kids remind me of the crafting fun I had with my kids, Collette and Devlin, when they were young. Glue was no stranger in our house. We were always crafting something and glitter, oh, how we loved to glitter. There was glitter waxed into the kitchen floor more than one once at our house. LOL!!

Now, once you have checked these blogs, make a note to come back here tomorrow for a tutorial on a little project that will "kick-off" a mini-BOM (block-of-the-month) project. Here's a bit of a peek at what you will find in my next post................

I was inspired by some threads sent to me by friend, Susan, and on Wednesday I'll tell you all about it! Must sign off before I tell you more. :-) Ah, yes, it's a Happy New Year and 2011 is off to a great start!!!

Have a great day!
Sandi

P.S. Yes, I know that the holidays are over but I love the sled picture so it's going to stay for just a couple more days. :-)

Your tutorial on SM is so well done, Sandi. It is perfect for the cold winter months.

I say leave that sled picture in place as long as you like. In fact, if it gets blasting hot in the summer, you might even want to bring it BACK for a few days to make yourself feel cooler. LOL Nice tutorial over at Stash Manicure!

Hi there! I'm a new follower from 12 crafts, I love your posts! I'm not a quilter or a crafter but have hopes to be some day. I also love the sled/snow picture (I'm in Phoenix, AZ) and glad it's still hanging around :)
