And the snow has ended.........

Well, it has almost ended. It seems to stop and then it starts again. I can't recall a Christmas with this much snow! The heaviest amount of snow fell on Christmas Eve. While our stockings were hung on the stair railing with care............

the snow was accumulating inch by inch on the lawn outside our house. On Christmas Day, there was still more snow and by Saturday (today), it was deeper than I've ever seen it since we moved out here three years ago!!

My husband, Steve used the snowblower to carve paths in the yard for Kaiser, the Wonder Beagle. Here's Kaiser wondering...... "where did my yard go?"

The sun came out for just a bit and I snapped this shot of my favorite tree in our backyard. It was my inspiration for my "Path of the Seasons" wool throw project. Now that Christmas gatherings are over, I'll get back to that project and other quilty, wooly, stitching things. Before I do that, though, I'm going to pick a few Christmas pictures to share and will post those tomorrow evening. I'll see you all then........

It is so pretty. I love looking at the animal's reaction and fun when there is snow.
Kaiser is probably asking you to come and join the fun...

That snow storm was HORRIBLE!! We ended up with massive snow drifts. I'm so glad you were all safe and sound at home :0)

Nice snowy pictures! The stockings look great! My dog used to love romping in fresh snow, then it would form into snowballs all over the fur on her belly and she'd come in the house and melt all over everything ...yuk!

We're warming up here...40 right now and raining...I'd rather snow than just wet and cold and ugly! We're never happy, are we? Unless of course we're stitching!

Take care and Happy New Year!

Wow that's alot of snow. It's cold here but no snow yet, but then again it's florida so the chances are slim that I will see snow. The stocking look good.

Season's greetings, Sandi. Winter is officially only 6 days old, and I'm already sick of it. Road conditions kept my husband and me away from both family Christmas gatherings. The word "bummer" doesn't begin to describe how I feel about that. But we'll get together again soon enough, and everybody stayed safe.

LOVE the path in the back yard. Bless the inventor of snow blowers!

Stay warm, stay safe.
