Happy Thanksgiving!

Wherever you are, and whether you celebrate the holiday or not, I hope you have a lovely day. I share this little quilt with you that I designed and stitched in 2000............

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to all my quilting friends, blogging friends and each of you that read, comment, or follow my blog. You are all a blessing!

P.S. If you want to see the Hay Bail Turkey that sits on Main Street in Henderson go here and you can see him in last November's post. He looks the same this year. :-) You'll also find the recipe for my son's favorite Christmas candy that you might want to try. Yum!

Thank you for such nice words and I love the saying on your quilt. I hope you have a happy day today, too. Loved seeing that hay bale turkey and rereading your post from last year. Regarding the candy...wish they'd come out with a Splenda-like confectioner's sugar so I could make it for Gary as he loves peanut butter....but a lb. of confectioner's sugar isn't very good for a diabetic!

Sandi, I like the glass-half-full philosophy of your embroidery. I may have to make one for my quiet room.

I have read many of your posts from before I found your blog, but I hadn't read the turkey and candy one.

I may try a Splenda version of the candy for my husband. I am sure that he would enjoy the taste even if the texture isn't right.

Happy Thanksgiving Sandi, I hope you have a great day with your family even though I know you are worried about your Mum.
Love your wallhanging, things don't have to be really fancy to be nice to look at and have meaning.
