The Big Snow

It arrived. Thought it might not happen when by 11:00 a.m. no snow was falling. Within an hour there was a ton of snow falling, up to a couple inches per hour. It tapered off about 1:30 p.m. but there is snow everywhere and now it's blowing all over. There'll be shoveling to do tomorrow as it's several inches deep on the driveway....just a path, though. With my husband out of town on business, he'll get to snowblow the driveway as soon as he gets home. There'll be no getting into the garage unless he does!

Busy hands today doing cleaning and stitching and typing. Tomorrow is all stitching. That is until my grandson arrives in the evening. My projects will go on the "back burner" while he's here and I'll get back to them on Sunday. We'll be crafting, though. Always do some project when he comes to visit, so we'll post pictures for sure.
Lights out!
Sandi

we haven't had snow here yet this year, but we're due to get that same storm in the form of rain this weekend. the weatherman is calling for almost 3 inches of rain, which i guess translates to about 6 inches of snow (or thereabouts!) like you, i'll be busy inside sewing and fondling new fabrics and looking at new books.
i would love to have seen that snowstorm.

Good Morning! Grandchildren are God's gift to us for having been Parents, so enjoy your "Gift", your cute Grandson. I read you blog about you making the bells with him, what a good idea. At the quilt show yesterday every other vendor had fat quarters, no plaids. I was so surprised at that. The show was GREAT, areal good time, today I rest as everything hurts from all the walking.

I'll bet it looks beautiful. I am sure it would look much prettier if it were November. :)

Enjoy your weekend with your grandson. We'll be looking forward to the pictures.

We are hopefully done with snow and moving onto rain (which is worse in some ways). Is it too late to join your Snowman BOM? I think I may have joined, but didn't receive anything but I am not sure. If it is that's okay. My email is rstjm4@yahoo.com
Thanks!

Hi Sandi- I was just reading your blog and I just wanted to say hello to a fellow Minnesotan. We got all the snow too and of course my husband was working too, so I got to do a lot of the shoveling and snowblowing. They are saying we could get another big storm in the next week or so- Hockey and Basketball tourmaents are coming up and we always get lots of snow during them! LOL
I am a quilter too, but haven't done any big project in the last 2 years. But I have 5 little grandkids and want to make each of them a quilt.
I have a blog too, if your interested in checking it out.
